However, in order to develop and provide the requested service, we may share your information with other companies and/or startup partners (excluding Google User Data, which is not shared with other companies except as described in the "Google Search Console data" section).

You can inform us of your objection to the transfer of your data, although in that case, it would not be possible to provide the requested service.

Although this is not a transfer of data, in order to provide you with the requested service it may be that third party companies, acting as our suppliers, access your information in order to carry out the service we have contracted from them. These third parties access your data following our instructions and without being able to use them for a different purpose and maintaining the strictest confidentiality.

Specifically, the collaborating companies that may process your data include:

  • Cloud service providers as responsible for the management of the servers.

  • Payment processors for handling subscriptions and transactions.

  • Email service providers for communications.

Likewise, your personal information will be at the disposal of the Public Administrations, Judges and Courts, for the attention of possible responsibilities arising from the processing.

International data transfers

Our servers are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) and we do not transfer your account or billing data outside it. The prompts you choose to track, including queries you add from Google Search Console, are sent to the AI search engines we monitor (for example ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity), some of which are operated by providers outside the EEA. Prompts are texts that you choose; please do not include personal data in them.

We have agreed with our suppliers that, for the provision of the contracted service, they make use of servers located in the EEA and if, in the future, we need to make use of servers located outside the EU territory, appropriate measures will be taken, which will be incorporated into this Privacy Policy, ensuring that such providers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, or that other appropriate safeguards are in place.

What are your rights in relation to the processing of your data and how can you exercise them?

Data protection regulations allow you to exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure and portability of data and to object to and restrict the processing of your data, as well as not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing of your data, where applicable.

These rights are characterized by the following:

  • They are free of charge, except in the case of manifestly unfounded or excessive requests (e.g. repetitive nature), in which case GEO Metrics may charge a fee proportional to the administrative costs incurred or refuse to act.

  • You may exercise your rights directly or through your legal representative or volunteer.

  • We must respond to your request within one month, although, taking into account the complexity and number of requests, the deadline may be extended by a further two months.

  • We are obliged to inform you about the means of exercising these rights, which must be accessible and without being able to refuse you the exercise of the right on the sole ground that you choose another means. If the request is made by electronic means, the information will be provided by electronic means where possible, unless you ask us to do otherwise.

  • If GEO Metrics does not comply with the request, it will inform you, at the latest within one month, of the reasons for its failure to act and the possibility to complain to a supervisory authority.

To exercise your rights, GEO Metrics makes the following means available to you:

  • By written request addressed to Human Trends AI SL, Ref. Exercise of GDPR Rights.

  • By sending an email to privacy@trygeometrics.com indicating "Exercise of GDPR Rights" in the subject line.

In both cases, you must prove your identity by enclosing a photocopy or, where appropriate, a scanned copy of your ID card or equivalent document in order to verify that we are only replying to the interested party or their legal representative, in which case you must provide proof of representation. Likewise, and especially if you consider that you have not obtained full satisfaction in the exercise of your rights, we inform you that you may lodge a complaint with the national supervisory authority in your country of residence.

Google User Data Limited Use Policy

GEO Metrics' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We strictly use Google User Data (your sign-in information and, if you connect it, your Google Search Console data) solely to provide or improve the user-facing features described in this policy. We do not use Google User Data for advertising, surveillance, or any other unrelated purposes.

Google Search Console data

If you choose to connect Google Search Console to a project, GEO Metrics asks Google for read-only access (scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly). We never modify anything in your Search Console.

What we access. (1) The list of Search Console properties that your Google account can read, with the permission level of each; (2) the search performance data of the one property you select for the project: search queries, impressions, clicks, click-through rate and average position.

How we use it. Only to show you, inside the "Suggest prompts" feature, the real search queries that bring visitors to your site, so that you can choose which ones to track as prompts. We use it for nothing else.

What we store. The access credential (a refresh token) is stored encrypted. For each connection we keep only the most recent load of data, limited to the 500 queries with most impressions, which is replaced every time you refresh. We also keep a record of the connection (project, selected property, who connected it, status and dates).

What we share. We do not sell this data, do not use it for advertising and do not transfer it to third parties, other than the infrastructure providers that host our service on our behalf and under our instructions, with one exception that you trigger yourself: when you select a query and add it as a prompt, the text of that query is saved as a prompt of your project and, like any other prompt, is sent to the AI search engines we monitor (for example ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity) to measure your brand visibility. No other Google data leaves our systems. We do not use Google user data to train generalized AI or machine-learning models. Our staff only read this data with your agreement, to investigate a security issue or abuse, or when the law requires it.

Who can see it. The people who can edit the project you connected it to.

Deleting it. The stored credential and the stored queries are deleted when you disconnect Google Search Console, when the authorization expires or is revoked, or when the person who connected it loses access to the project. Prompts you created from the suggestions are your own prompts and are kept until you delete them. You can also revoke access at any time from your Google Account (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions), and ask us to delete anything we hold by writing to privacy@trygeometrics.com.

AI Data Processing

GEO Metrics uses artificial intelligence systems to analyze brand mentions in AI responses. When we process data through these systems:

  • We anonymize all personal data before processing.

  • We only use your data for the specific purposes outlined in this policy.

  • We implement technical safeguards to ensure data security throughout the analysis process.

  • We provide transparency into how AI systems analyze your brand data through our dashboard.

How do we protect your information?

GEO Metrics is committed to protecting your personal information.

We use reasonably reliable and effective physical, organizational and technological measures, controls and procedures to maintain the integrity and security of your data and to ensure your privacy.

In addition, all staff with access to personal data have been trained and are aware of their obligations in relation to the processing of your personal data.

In the case of the contracts we sign with our suppliers, we include clauses requiring them to maintain the duty of secrecy with respect to the personal data to which they have had access by virtue of the order placed, as well as to implement the necessary technical and organizational security measures to guarantee the permanent confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of the systems and services for the processing of personal data.

All these security measures are periodically reviewed to ensure their adequacy and effectiveness through cybersecurity audits carried out on a regular basis.

However, absolute security cannot be guaranteed and no security system is impenetrable, so in the event that any information processed and under our control is compromised as a result of a security breach, we will take appropriate steps to investigate the incident, notify the Supervisory Authority and, where appropriate, those users who may have been affected to take appropriate action.
